The ultimate of camping experiences, Tween camp takes the fun of day camp activities such as sports, archery, hobbies and combines it with the excitement of travel. 6th and 7th graders will have a one day trip each week and 8th and 9th graders will have two day trips each week. All the tweens have the option of tennis, horseback riding or racquetball lessons, and one unforgettable 3 day overnight trip each month. When on the campgrounds, Tweens will have two swims daily and enjoy special events, entertainment and Oneg Shabbats.

Special Charges and Discounts

Extended Day for Junior, Sports and Tween Campers -- 8:00-8:30 AM and 4:30-6:00 PM at $5.00 per hour. This must be prepaid and is non-refundable and is for the entire period the child is registered for camp. Free for Suffolk Y JCC KidsPlace and Daycare children.

Sibling Discount --- $100 off for second, third sibling for 8 weeks; $50, for 4 or 6 weeks.

Fees do not include transportation. Transportation can be purchased at $65 per week.

Nonmembers --- A nonmember surcharge of $300 per family is required. Nonmember surcharge is not refundable. This charge is ONLY for camp and confers no membership privileges.

Limited Openings. When Y camp programs are wait listed priority is given to Y members on a first come, first serve basis.

Please Note: Because of the possible increases in transportation costs which our bus companies have indicated they may pass on to us, the Suffolk Y may find it necessary to add a small transportation surcharge. We wish to emphasize that we are making every effort to keep the fees inclusive as stated in the brochure.
